NEWPORT RAMBLERS- THE BEGINNING.

Dear Mr Granville,

I know you are keen on hiking and want a hiking club, so please come along to Sweetings next Saturday afternoon and see if we can get things going. We need your support. Whether we will start a club or not depends upon the number of enthusiasts that turn up. Each one must do his part to make the club a success and worth while. Do roll up. I shall be glad to see one of the old stalwarts. We meet at the station approach to 3 PM for a short hike to Little Switzerland and then tea at Sweeting followed by games, dancing etc. The approximate cost will be 1/-.

Bring your friends along too.

They will have a jolly evening. Hikers & non-hikers, all are welcome.
