From the meeting point Tregare Street, Newport to the start Point of the walk, Pontypool Leisure Centre.

From The Old Green Interchange at Newport Castle take the A4042 Abergavenny/Pontypool Road North out of the city.

At the roundabout where the services are on A4042 take the left signposted A472 Pontypool.

At the next roundabout (Imaginatively named Pontypool Roundabout) turn right. This is the 2nd exit.

Immediately there is a second roundabout (Albion Road Roundabout). Turn right. This is the 3rd exit.

Immediately there is a mini roundabout (Clarence Roundabout). Turn right. This is the 3rd exit.

Continue along Clarence Road for 300 yards, and then turn LEFT into Trosnant Road.

After 70 yards turn RIGHT into leisure centre car park.
