From M4 Junction 24 (The Coldra).

Take the A48 East, Chepstow Road in the direction of Chepstow.

Approx 3.5 miles from the Coldra you pass the Groes Wen Inn on your right.

After 0.6 of a mile on the left, you will pass a layby that we sometimes when walking in this area.

540 yards further on is a second smaller layby also on the left. It’s entrance is immeadiately after the red roadside Reduce Speed Now sign.

This was once the entrance to a quarry.
