From the Tregare Street meeting point, Turn right at the cenotaph traffic lights & cross Newport bridge. At the Old Green Roundabout take the fourth exit right, signposted Cwmbran. At the Harlequin roundabout take the second exit signposted , Cardiff, M4West & A4051. You are now on Malpas Road.

At the next roundabout, Junction 26 of the M4, take the second exit to continue on Malpas Road, signposted, Cwmbran A4051.

Continue uphill go straight on at the traffic lights at Bettws lane. Pass the Harvester restaurant on your left. Get in the right hand lane.

300 yards on from the Harvester you will turn Right at another set of Traffic lights onto Pillmawr Road. There is a chip shop on this corner.

Follow Pillmawr Road for approx.. 700 yards. You will pass the Three Horseshoes pub & Pillmawr Circle, both on your left.

Go downhill & on a slight bend turn right towards The Usk Vale pub & Grove Park. There is a sign to warn off large vehicles from using this route.

Approx. 70 yards after this sign turn right, signposted The Usk Vale.

Follow this lane for approx. 200 yards when you will be at the entrance to Grove Park.
