From the Tregare Street meeting place, take Caerleon Road in the direction of Caerleon.

At the roundabout where Caerleon road meets the M4, take the first exit and take the A 4042 North towards Abergavenny.

On the outskirts of Abergavenny take the A465 (Heads of the Valleys road) West towards Merthyr.

Follow the A465 for 4.75 miles.

There are 2 turnings left called Station Road, and the one we want is the second, which comes after the Lion Hotel on the right.

The actual signpost of the left turn says Clydach Gorge - one of those brown heritage signs.

Follow Station Road for 500 yards and park in the car park on the right.
