Take the A4042 towards Pontypool

At the Pontypool McDonalds roundabout stay in the left hand lane and take the second exit, the A472, signposted for Pontypool, Big Pit
After a few hundred yards take the slip road signposted for Griffithstown, Upper Race.
At the traffic lights at the bottom of the slip road turn left. At the roundabout take the first exit, signposted Griffithstown.
At the mini roundabout take the second exit, signposted Griffithstown.
Follow this road passing, on your left, the “play park” and the church followed by a pelican crossing.  Immediately after the crossing turn right and right again into Cwrdy Road.

The second set of gates on your left will take you into the car park for Panteg Park (fishpond park).

Well you should go to the Tregare Street meeting point, be early we leave promptly.That way you can car share with others. But if you need instructions to get to the walk start point this page may be where you can find them.
