From Tregare Street meeting point take A4042 in the direction of Abergavenny.

At the McDonalds services roundabout take first exit towards Pontypool A472.

At next roundabout (Pontypool roundabout) take the second exit, the A4043 towards Blaenavon.

Continue on this road through two more roundabouts (Albion Rd. & Crane St.), straight on at a set of traffic lights, and then straight on at a third roundabout (Riverside).

Just past a Texaco petrol station on your right, There is a a turn for Merchant’s Hill on the left,. Take the turn & go up the hill. Take the second right into Elled Rd. It is a Sharp & Narrow turn. Adfter 180 Yards you will come to the Little Crown car Park. It is quite small, but the is a small overflow car park behind it.

If there is no room there is another place, (Pontnewynydd old station) we park when walking in this area. It is only a 200 yard walk away. There is a short flight of steps.
