From M4 Junction 24 (The Coldra) take the A449 North in the direction of Monmouth and the M50.

At the first roundabout (At Monmouth) go straight on this is the A 40.

At the second roundabout (At Ross On Wye) go straight on.

At the third roundabout (Also Ross On Wye) go straight on.

At fourth roundabout take the first exit signposted Ledbury A449.

(This roundabout is where the A40, A449 And M50 meet.)

After approx. 2 miles turn left onto B4244 Signposted Hereford.

After a quarter of a mile, turn left to continue on B4244 in the direction of Hereford.

Continue approx. 5 mile on to Fownhope.

In Fownhope, just after the village name plate, you will pass a church with spire on the left. Turn left immediately after the church into Capler Lane.  After passing the church on the left turn right down a small lane just before a large black and white house. The lane is signposted  "Recreation Field and River Wye". You go through a little metal gate and park on the grass on the right shortly afterwards. Should this be full, drive further on down and park on the right (River Parking) at the bottom.

Well you should go to the Tregare Street meeting point, be early we leave promptly.That way you can car share with others. But if you need instructions to get to the walk start point this page may be where you can find them.
