Take M4 West.

At Junction 35 leave motorway and take the first exit off the roundabout signposted A473 Bridgend.

At second roundabout follow sign straight on for Bridgend.

At third Roundabout follow sign straight on for Bridgend.

At fourth roundabout straight on.

At fifth take third exit, which is straight on.

Pass under a rail bridge, up a slight hill, and then,

At the sixth roundabout (This one has traffic lights) take first exit, left, signposted Ogmore By Sea.

This is the B4265 Ewenny Road.

Follow this for approx. 0.75 miles, then turn right into New Inn Road.

This turn is approx. 300 yards after Ewenny Pottery.

Follow New Inn Road for 0.75 miles, then take a left into Merthyr Mawr road which has a wooden sign saying Chapel Barn Office Units.

There is also a finger post, which points left to Merthyr Mawr.

You will pass through the village of Merthyr Mawr after approx. 0.75 miles.

Follow this road for another 0.75 miles to Candelston Castle car Park.

Well you should go to the Tregare Street meeting point, be early we leave promptly.That way you can car share with others. But if you need instructions to get to the walk start point this page may be where you can find them.
